The Station House opened in 2009. The Station House is owned and operated by Donnie and Marla Nix. Marla is no stranger to the restaurant business. Her family has owned and operated restaurants for over 40 years.
The family recipes have been passed down for many years. They are all made from scratch daily. Some of our customers favorites are biscuits and pancakes for breakfast, our meatloaf, and cornbread dressing, and lemon pie for dessert. These recipes are not only customers' favorites, but ours as well! Our meatloaf recipe originated from Marla's late Granny Mills, who loved to cook and share her recipes to bring her family and friends together. One of Marla's fondest memories is family gatherings around a large table for birthdays, holidays, and family reunions.
That is one of our hopes for you, to share these meals with you to keep families and friends together around the table, not just sharing a meal, but a lasting memory.
